Are 228 Aviation products FAA approved?
No. 228 Aviation is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FAA. Products identify current FAA sources and review dates without claiming official status.
Do the products replace a CFI, CFII, flight review, IPC, FIRC, endorsement, course, or practical test?
No. They are educational and planning tools. The qualified person conducting required instruction, review, check, endorsement, or certification work must apply the current requirements and professional judgment.
What does FAA-source checked mean?
An identified claim was compared against the listed current official source on the printed review date. It is a transparent research statement, not an approval claim.
Can I use a workbook in the airplane?
Only as appropriate and never as a replacement for the current approved POH/AFM, aircraft checklist, operating limitations, charts, NOTAMs, or required operational information. Aircraft-specific limits and procedures must come from authoritative documents for that aircraft.
How are files delivered?
Stripe confirms payment through a signed webhook. The order receives product entitlements and the checkout email receives a secure library link. New links can be requested later without creating a password.
What if I close the checkout success page?
Nothing is lost. Access is tied to the verified purchase email. Use the Purchase Library page to request another time-limited link.
Do I receive future versions?
The Version 1 library provides the current available version for the purchased product. A future major-edition or subscription policy may differ and will be stated before purchase.
May instructors use the files with students?
A purchasing instructor may use worksheets during their own direct instruction. Redistribution of complete files, posting to a shared drive, resale, or school-wide duplication requires a separate license.
What is the refund policy?
Because access is immediate, digital purchases are normally final after delivery. 228 Aviation will address duplicate charges, corrupt or missing files, and products materially different from the description. Read the full policy before checkout.
Does the site publish customer reviews?
Not yet. The founding release does not invent testimonials, ratings, student counts, or popularity claims.
